Samantha earned her J.D. from the University at Buffalo School of Law, where she graduated magna cum laude. While in law school, Sam worked as a student attorney in the Criminal Justice Advocacy Clinic, appearing in court and providing legal assistance to survivors of domestic violence pursuant to the Domestic Violence Survivors’ Justice Act. Sam also served on the executive board of the Buffalo Law Review and worked as a Legal Writing Fellow for the law school’s Legal Analysis Writing and Research Program, as a teaching assistant in constitutional law, and as a research assistant for James A. Gardner.
Sam interned with the United States Attorney’s Office, externed for Northern District of New York District Court Judge David N. Hurd and worked as a law clerk at Connors LLP.
After graduation, Sam served a two-year term as an appellate court attorney with the Appellate Division, Fourth Department.
